Who we are
Since 1978 Ross Walk (RWHC) has been an innovative provider of good quality, affordable homes to rent for local people.
As a community based housing co-operative, we are run entirely by and for our tenant members. Tenant members own and manage their housing collectively – so they are effectively their own landlord. This gives them a high level of control over their homes and their neighbourhood. Perhaps because of this most tenant members tend to stay with RWHC, so our homes are in high demand. In all there are around 600 housing co-operatives in England.

Since 1991, we have had a partnership with PA Housing (formally asra Housing Group) to supply services like applicant interviews, housing allocations, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, rent collection, development and legal advice. PA Housing is the largest housing association in Leicester, which means it can provide those services efficiently and cost-effectively.
